MRS. RACHANA GURUNG SHARMA
Official Choreographer and Chief Trainer

Since 10 years now, Rachana has been the backbone of Miss Nepal Pageants. Her extensive trainings have carved out, the woman in all the contestants of Miss Nepal to date. Highlights of her of involvement are as follows.

Choreographed dance sequences for groups for stage performers in Hong Kong 1988 – 1990.

Choreographed “Fashion Show” for Intervision (Yasmine Boutique).

Choreographed for “Fashion Summit” Himalayan Expo 1992.

Choreographed Fashion Show for The Boutique “Fashion Den” – 1993.

Choreographed Fashion Show in Delhi for Leather Garment.

Co-ordinated, Choreographed for MISS NEPAL –1994

And fashion shows of Image Boutique.

Co-ordinator and Choreographer in MISS NEPAL 1996 – 2002.

MR. RAJ BHAI SUWAL
Official Photographer

He started his professional career since 1984 and is now engaged in commercial photography & glamour photography. He is also the proprietor of Creative Photo Session Studio, Khichaphokhari.

Mr. Suwal’s other professional highlights are:

He received photography trainers’ training conducted by the British Council, Bangladesh. Advanced still life, commercial, glamour and digital photography & computer graphics from Bombay, India.

Official Photographer of the first ever Miss World Nepal Beauty Pageant 1997, Miss Nepal 1998, 1999, 2000, 2002.

Executive Member National Forum of Photo Journalist and a resource person for Media Point, The Ramp & C.W.D.

Conducted Photography Training for The Reukai Nepal, Nepal Photo Journalist Association & National Forum of Photo Journalist and is associated leading magazines & newspapers.

MS. SANYUKTA SHRESTHA
Official Designer


The young virtuoso of our fashion world. At 17 she delighted and amazed the fashion circle of Kathmandu with her creation for Miss Nepal ’98. Since then there has been no looking back for this lady who still reigns at the top. Her lists of clienteles are as diverse as her collection itself. She robes the who’s who of films, fashion, corporate world and the fashionable crowd in Nepal. On the other side her Signature Style boutique is acting as an escort to place Sanyukta’s creation at heights in Nepalese fashion arena. Her fashion mantra ‘creativity with elegance is the lifeline of fashion designing.
Sanyukta’s experience in creations:

Participated in the Fashion Designer Workshop, London College of Fashion, UK, 2003(Specialized in Haute Couture-High fashion)

She has a Diploma in Fashion Designing from Lakhotia Institute of Art & Design, Kathmandu, Nepal, 1999. She is also a Graduate in English literature and Journalism.

She has received recognition for her works and has received many awards. These include- ‘Best Designed Dress Award’ in Miss Nepal Contest, 1998, ’Best Designer of the Year’, in Kathmandu Utsav Designer Contest, 1999. Selected as the ‘Best Eight Young Achievers of the Country’ by Radisson Young Achiever Program, 1999.

She is the Fashion Instructor for Ramp Fashion & Modeling Agency. She also worked as a Fashion columnist for ‘NARI’, a monthly women’s magazine of Kantipur Publication. She is the Proprietor of Sanyukta, The Signature Style Boutique, Kathmandu.

Her professional activities include- Official fashion Designer of Miss Nepal in the Miss World Contest in 1998, Official fashion Designer of 1st Runner-Up of Miss Nepal in the Miss Asia Pacific in1998, Official fashion Designer for Inter College Fashion Contest in Kathmandu, 2000, Official fashion Designer for Ramp Model Contest in Kathmandu, 2000Official Costume Designer of the following Nepali feature films:Super Star (1999), Kasto Sahino (2000) and Sukha Dukha (2002). Conducted a number of solo fashion shows in Kathmandu: Winter Fashion Parade (1999), Creative Cottons (1999), Fashion Epoch 57 (2000), Chhaya Chhabi (2000), Houte Couture (2000) and Advertising Award (2003)

Acted as a Judge for fashion and modelling contests including Miss Nepal 2002 and 2003.

Currently working as official fashion designer for Miss Nepal Beauty Pageant 2004.

MRS KAMALA SHRESTHA (Senior Beautician)
Official Beautician

An Arts graduate from Tribhuvan University and holding a Diploma in Hair Design and Beauty care from Bangkok, Thailand in 1979, She has received all aspects of training relating to beauty, hair, skin etc. from Thailand, the Philippines, USA and China. She has over 25 years of experience in this field.

Owner of Siam Beauty Salon since 1979. Founder Principal Siam Institute of Hair Design and Beauty Care (the first of its kind in Nepal) approved by HMG. She also manages a five-star beauty salon at the Radission Hotel (Lazimpat).

Involved in First Miss Nepal Pageant in 1994, in 1998 visit Nepal Year Programme and the 8th SAF Games in 1999 and the 2004 Lux Beauty Award.

She appears regularly in local TV channels, FM’s and the print media where she talks assort Beauty, Hair, Skin and Facial Care. She is a regular columnist for a New Nari Magazine and Annapurna Post.

To her credit she has trained over 300 beauticians in the country.

Recipient of a letter of Appreciation from the Crown Prince the contribution in the field of beauty and hair care grooming.

MS. SWETA SINGH
Trainer

Undergoing MA in Psychology with Human Behavior as her Major currently. She has worked as a Freelancer with the Pioneer Newspaper Agency in India as a columnist in 1997. She has also worked as an Airhostess with Lumbini Airways and then Yeti Airlines as Chief Airhostess all together for 3 yrs.

Sweta was Crowned Miss Nepal 1999 and went to participate in the Miss World Competition held in London and Malta.

Modeled for Fair and lovely as the first fair and lovely girl for both print as well as audiovisual media. Campaigned for Radisson’s health club, Clark Hatch.

After the reign joined the Tiger Mountain Group of Companies as the Manager Sales and Guest Relation’s and took care of the Asia Pacific region. Traveled to Ladakh to promote the lodge in Leh. (2000-2003)

Presently working for the Golchha Group’s Samsung Digital World Showroom in Durbar Marg as Manager since 2003.
